Landing page quality update

Latest Google Adwords Algorithm
Google is now giving more emphasis on the landing page URL as per its new algorithm of Quality score is concerned.  The algorithm is already tested in different parts of the world including Portugal, Brazil, Spain, and in some parts of Latin America.

How this Algorithm is different from the last Algorithm
The new  algorithm of Google Adwords Quality score will now focus more on Destination URL’s to give more relevant results to the customers. This new algorithm aimed at providing more better quality to the users searching for the particular services or products. If the quality of landing page improves, users will keep on the page for a long time and thus provide the advertisers a benefit of high rank and low cost per click as the whole Quality score will increase.

As per the announcement by Google “August, we announced trials in Brazil, Spanish-speaking Latin America, Spain, and Portugal1that increased the weight given to relevance and landing page quality in determining Quality Score and how ads are ranked on Google. The goal was to improve the user experience with search ads. Based on the results we’ve been seeing, we’re now rolling these changes out globally over the coming weeks.”

Results of New Algorithm
The new algorithm will significantly impact the Google Adwords campaign in a positive manner as there will be more variations in the quality score of different keywords and also will effect the ad positions in sponsored listings. However, Google is assuing that things will not change much for the next couple of weeks and most of the campaigns will not feel too much alterations in their campaign.  However, it is quite sure that this new algorithm will improve the Quality Score. Google gives a rank to every keyword and ad on the basis of how it is performing. It gives a Quality score of 1-10 to every keyword in  the Adwords interface. As you start getting more clicks and users start staying long on the landing page, the quality y  scores increases. Now as per new Google algorithm, more and more advertisers will start focusing on creating better landing pages and the users will surely stay long on the landing pages, resulting in better quality score and better ad positions.
